Schebler Spec Fab Partners with Local Business

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Schebler Specialty Fabrication? Barbeques and smokers? Probably not.

But, one of our recent projects involved partnering with a local entrepreneur, Don Godke, to improve his product for pellet smokers and meet his fabrication needs.

To increase the efficiency of smokers, Godke developed Don Godke’s Downdraft, an adjustable metal piece to vent the heat through the smoker for better utilization of fuel and more even cooking.

While Godke fabricates most of the pieces himself, he needed help with all of the laser-cut components. He came to Schebler to get the service and expertise he needed.                                                                      

At Schebler Spec Fab, we can significantly reduce lead times because we work three shifts. Godke came in with his request and received his product in two days.

Since then, our experts have helped re-engineer components of the product to make it as efficient as possible and continued to meet every request of the client.
